Portlaw Strategic Intelligence partners with CostsMaster to bring purpose-built AI to legal costs
CostsMaster, the legal costs drafting software used by costs professionals across England and Wales, has partnered with Portlaw Strategic Intelligence to develop a range of AI-powered capabilities for its software.
The venture follows CostsMaster's earlier announcement that it was exploring how AI could be integrated into its tools. The two companies are now developing practical, secure and purpose-built AI designed to complement — but not replace — the expertise of experienced Costs Lawyers, helping users work more efficiently while retaining the flexibility, control and confidence CostsMaster is known for.
The partnership is led by Dr Victoria McCloud, former King's Bench Master and Deputy Costs Judge, and founder of Portlaw Strategic Intelligence.
